
Born on 16 February 1982 in Mühlacker, Rouven Kasper has been FC Bayern München AG board member for marketing and sales since 1 January 2026. In this role, he is responsible for national and international marketing and sales. Specifically, this includes the global partnerships, global commerce and brand divisions as well as the digital and sustainability departments.
His appointment to the board means a return to FC Bayern, having been responsible for the German record champions’ Asia-Pacific activities as President Asia from 2016 to 2021. The sports economist began his career at global marketing agency Sportfive, where he held various positions over more than ten years, including responsibility for the marketing of FC Augsburg and Hamburger SV.
From January 2022, Rouven Kasper was a member of the board at VfB Stuttgart, where he was also responsible for marketing and sales, driving forward the club’s strategy in the areas B2B, B2C, branding, internationalisation and further strategic fields of activity.
Rouven Kasper has been the spokesperson of the internationalisation committee of the German Football League (DFL) since 2022. In October 2025 he was awarded an honorary doctorate from Hiroshima University of Economics.
