The daily routine offers the players the opportunity to fully focus on their tasks and duties both on and off the pitch. In addition to the daily training and athletics sessions, the players spend their afternoons taking German or online lessons. In addition to academic tuition, cultural exchange is also important to us so they can familiarise themselves even more with the DNA of FC Bayern and its identity. A balanced diet is also essential for good regeneration after the sessions. The players are provided with selected meals three times a day to promote rapid regeneration. In addition, the talents have the opportunity to prepare meals in their own kitchen at any time.
The talented youngsters not only train at the state-of-the-art FC Bayern Campus, but can also call the prestigious Säbener Straße their home, which is an absolutely unique selling point. Not only do they work according to the philosophy of Germany's most successful club, but they also have the opportunity to train alongside their idols at the place where every youth player wants to be part of the first team one day. A unique motivational boost!
To ensure that the individual processes interlock and that every day is structured down to the last detail, the boys are supported around the clock by a team that focuses exclusively on the well-being of the players. This means that the athletes can fully focus on themselves and their development and have a contact person who is always on hand to offer advice. It is also important to us that important life skills such as teamwork, leadership, independence and resilience are taught and practised - crucial character traits both for their development in their career and in everyday life.
But that's not all! In addition to the strenuous everyday life as an athlete, leisure time must not be neglected. In their spare time, players are free to move around Munich and explore the most beautiful city in the world by bike, bus, tram or underground. Thanks to the excellent public transport connections, this is safe and easy.
The FC Bayern Global Academy has recently moved into the new FC Bayern International Youth Centre – a place that brings the lads even closer to the club and offers them a real home away from home. State-of-the-art single rooms and the completely redesigned Players’ Lounge provide the perfect setting for this. Here, the players can unwind together, enjoy their free time, play table tennis or watch football – and in doing so, grow even closer as a team and strengthen their bond off the pitch too. The new home of the FC Bayern Pathway, which visually tells the story of the club and international youth football, is just a few minutes’ walk from Säbener Straße. The goal is therefore always within reach!
