With international offices in regions like Asia and North America, the club is bringing the passion for football directly to the people there. These offices don’t just promote exchanges between local fan communities but also play a key role in the building of Bayern’s global presence and developing valuable partnerships in strategically relevant markets.
New York City, USA
The club opened its first office in New York City in 2014, before it moved to its new home at the iconic Rockefeller Center in the heart of Manhattan in December 2023. Bayern has been represented in the USA for 10 years now, and in this time the number of fan clubs in the region has grown from eight to 200, and number of local partnerships were also established.

Shanghai, China
FC Bayern has had a presence in Shanghai since 2016 in order to intensify the dialogue with the large Asian fan base, and in particular in China, and make the club more tangible. Having the office there has allowed the club to expand sponsorship and media partnerships as well as collaborations in the area of youth football. In November 2024, FC Bayern moved into a new office in Shanghai and is now located in the same building as its partner adidas in the major metropolis.

Bangkok, Thailand
Aware of the immense importance of personal and direct contact with people locally, Bayern continued its internationalisation push in 2022 with another office in Bangkok. The capital of Thailand is a hub for the southeast Asia region and also makes it easier to reach more fans in India and Oceania.
