Laimer and Austria book World Cup spot

Thanks to a 1-1 draw against Bosnia-Herzegovina in their final group match, Konrad Laimer and the Austrian national team have qualified directly for next summer's World Cup finals. Minjae Kim and South Korea with success against Ghana

Minjae Kim also had a successful day with the South Korean national team on Tuesday. In a friendly against Ghana, the FCB defender and his side won 1-0 in Seoul, with Tae-Seok Lee scoring the decisive goal for the hosts in the 63rd minute and Minjae playing the full 90 minutes.

Jackson with a brace in emphatic win

Nicolas Jackson and Senegal celebrated an 8-0 win over Kenya in a friendly in Aksu (Turkey) on Tuesday. The FCB attacker scored the opening goal and even added a second to make it 3-0 at the interval. Jackson then came off in the 63rd minute with the score at 7-0.

Karl scores again in Germany U21s win

 

Tom Bischof and Lennart Karl celebrated a 2-0 win for the Germany U21s in the European Championship qualifiers in Georgia on Tuesday evening. Karl, who played until the 84th minute, scored the goal that gave the DFB team a 1-0 lead. Bischof again led the team as captain and played the full 90 minutes.
