

The FC Bayern World Squad helps young players from around the world take a step closer to professional football. From featuring for Bayern’s senior team to playing for clubs all over the world, find out what former World Squad players have got up to after leaving the programme.
Maycon Douglas Cardozo

After being part of the 2023/24 Global Academy, Maycon Douglas Cardozo joined the World Squad class of ‘24. He has been on the books at Bayern since early 2025 and got to train with the senior team for the first time that October before making his professional debut under Vincent Kompany in the January 2026 friendly win over Red Bull Salzburg.
Sebastian Dabrowski

Sebastian Dabrowski joined the FC Bayern Pathway with the Global Academy in 2023, earning himself a place in the World Squad class of ‘24. In July that year, the attacking midfielder joined Eintracht Braunschweig’s U19s team and has since become a regular there.
Siam Yapp

After featuring in the 2022 and 2023 FC Bayern World Squads, Siam Yapp joined Buriram United in Thailand. He’s currently with Uthau Thani in the country’s first division.
Victor Orakpo

Victor Orakpo was named MVP at the 2022 FC Bayern Youth Cup to earn a place in the FC Bayern World Squad class of ‘23. In 2024 he signed for Nice in France and made his professional debut that same year. The striker joined Nancy Lorraine in the second division on loan at the start of 2026.
Giovanni De Abreu

Giovanni De Abreu had two years in the FC Bayern World Squad and was even named captain by coach Roy Makaay for the class of ‘25. He made his professional debut for Perth Glory in the Australian A-League at the end of 2025 and is now a regular with the first team.
Viktor Baier

After his time with the World Squad class of ’23, Viktor Baier joined Viktoria Plzen and made his professional debut. In July 2025 the goalkeeper joined Blau-Weiß Linz on loan and was first choice in the Austrian Bundesliga before returning to his homeland with Plzen.
David Emmanuel

David Emmanuel competed for Team Nigeria at the 2022 Youth Cup and was also part of the World Squad in 2023 and 2024, earning a contract with Bayern as a result. In 2025 he was loaned out to Hessen Kassel in Germany’s fourth tier before a 2026 move to Kladno in the Czech third tier.
Daniel Francis

Daniel Francis entered the FC Bayern Pathway with his participation at the 2020 Youth Cup, also appearing in the World Squad the following two years. He was the first player from the project to receive a contract with Bayern, then being loaned out to Austria Klagenfurt. The defensive midfielder now plays for Wacker Innsbruck.
Ignacio Isla

After playing with the World Squad, centre-back Ignacio Isla signed for Atlético Unión in Argentina, becoming a regular with their second team. He currently trains with the senior squad and has made his first-team debut in a friendly.
Tarik Scott

Tarik Scott was a member of the World Squad class of ‘22 and went on to make his professional debut with FC Dallas. In 2026 he joined Lexington FC in the United Soccer League.
Manuel Aguilar Peña

Following his time with the World Squad, Manuel Aguilar Peña returned to Tigres in Mexico, working his way through the youth teams and now playing for the U23s. The centre-back has also appeared for the first team in Liga MX.
Mateo Franzotti

A participant in the first edition of the World Squad in 2021, Mateo Franzotti went on to join Wacker Innsbruck in 2025. The left-back is now a regular with their first team in Austria’s third tier.
José Mulato

Colombian José Mulato moved on from the World Squad to Bosnia, where he made his professional debut with HŠK Posušje in the country’s first division.
Felix Amofa

Felix Amofa featured in the fifth edition of the World Squad before being signed by Ghanaian Premier League side Accra Lions.
Isaias Galvan

Isaias Galvan was part of the World Squad class of ‘23 and now plays for the U21s at Tigres, also making a first-team appearance in a friendly.
Luis Patricio Gomez Sanchez

Goalkeeper Luis Patricio Gomez Sanchez was part of two World Squads before forging a career in Mexico with Tigres. He currently plays for the U21s and also trains with the senior team.
