Germany beaten by Sweden, Stanway and England with goal fest: How EURO Matchday 3 went from an FCB perspective

The group stage of the Women's European Championship in Switzerland is done and dusted! The German side featuring Lea Schüller, Klara Bühl and Co. were beaten 4-1 by Magdalena Eriksson, Julia Zigiotti Olme and the Swedish national team in the group decider. In the parallel match, Natalia Padilla Bidas and the Polish national team celebrated a 3-2 win over Pernille Harder, Stine Ballisager and their Danish teammates.

Meanwhile, Tuva Hansen and the Norwegian national team made it three from three thanks to a thrilling 4-3 win over Iceland and Glódís Viggósdóttir, which saw them top the group and qualify for the last eight. Arianna Caruso is also in the quarter-finals with Italy: although Le Azzurre were beaten 3-1 by world champions Spain in their final group game, they still went through to the knockout stage in second place.
